ALT (Art + Life + Tech) returns to Iowa City this spring, with events happening throughout the day on Saturday, April 7. ALT explores intersections between technology, art, and our lives through keynote talks, workshops, and panel discussions. We seek to inspire and build community creativity empowered and enabled by technology; to display technology as a means to creative ends rather than as an end in itself; and to build a broader community among art and tech cultures through inspiring content.

Schedule

9 a.m. – Noon: Code and Cupcakes with Jen Myers of Modern Adventuress: A coding workshop for female-identified adults and their female-identified child companions. Sign up to attend!

1 p.m.: Tom Eggert – Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies: “Sustainable, Responsible and Impact Investing: The Rise of Investing with your Values”

2 p.m.: Will Lenzen Jr – Makr, Destined, Yoimono, Collectishelf: “Learning to Laugh at Myself”

3 p.m.: Jen Myers – PluralSight, antiheroine, Modern Adventuress: “Maps with No Destinations (How I Navigate Careers, Lives and Goals)”
