Sarah Viren is a writer, translator, and former newspaper reporter originally from Florida by way of Missouri. She is the author of the essay collection, Mine, which won the River Teeth Literary Nonfiction Book Prize, judged by Andre Dubus III, and translator of the novella Córdoba Skies by the Argentine author Federico Falco. Her essays and poems have appeared in Guernica, AGNI, the Iowa Review, the Oxford American, Texas Monthly and other magazines. She teaches at Arizona State University and is a graduate of the University of Iowa’s Nonfiction Writing Program. More at sarahviren.com
