Mission Creek Festival is a platform for performance, literature, and community happenings. We open this year’s festival with an event that combines all three of our programmatic areas. We present A More Perfect Union: a journey into food, art, and reflection.

Chef David Wieseneck (Maggie’s Farm, Motley Cow) leads this multi-disciplinary event featuring 4 distinct dishes paired with beverages from Big Grove and Cedar Ridge. Readings and performances by four local artists will precede each serving. The entire evenings addresses the theme, A More Perfect Union: It is about what’s happening in our world. It is about how we want our world to look. It is about how we are processing it. This is how we and artists and writers are making sense of it. Performances will include writer Rachel Yoder, actor/writer/musician Barrington Vaxter, comedian Jessica Misra, and musician Michael Morris (of Dewi Sant).
